Fisioterapia Neurológica
In neurological physiotherapy, the techniques applied by the physiotherapist are aimed at treating sequelae in lesions of the central or peripheral nervous system. After an initial assessment, the physiotherapist determines the problems that can be treated, and then, in agreement with the patient and / or family, set goals. The neurological physiotherapist will apply a series of techniques during the different sessions with the intention of improving the physical capacities and the structural and sensory alterations of the patient in order to rehabilitate or improve the quality and effectiveness of the movements and posture. This affects the day to day, the quality of life and the well-being of the neurological patient.

Ecrin is a pioneering center in equine therapy, hippotherapy and horse-assisted neurorehabilitation where we bring therapeutic goals to an environment of peace, nature and horses.
Our goal is to bring the clinic and professionalism to a different environment full of stimuli and motivation but without losing the foundation: physical, social, behavioral and cognitive rehabilitation in teams.
Being all health professionals, experts in neurology and working apart from horses, in centers and hospitals, we have created a method that is based on a neurorehabilitation intervention with horses from the interdisciplinary team and supported by scales that objectify the results.
AERÓDROMO DE SANTA CILIA
It has just added its second adapted two-seater glider to the Nimbus Aeroclub fleet, which makes it the only aeronautical platform in the country to have two of these aircraft. There is also the case that this new device is adapted in the two piloting positions, which would allow both the instructor and the student to be people with physical disabilities in the lower limbs or with reduced mobility. With the new acquisition, which has been made in Germany and which has involved an investment for the Aeroclub Nimbus of 120,000 euros, the aerodrome is consolidated as a benchmark for adapted flight in Spain, with two aircraft available to this group and specifically prepared for their members.

It is a non-profit entity, whose objectives are to encourage, develop and promote the improvement of the quality of life and well-being of people who suffer from a brain tumor, as well as obtain and disseminate the maximum and most up-to-date information on the disease, both in prevention, early detection, treatment and control, as well as in clinical and scientific aspects.
GRUPO ESPAÑOL DE PACIENTES CON CÁNCER
It was founded as an independent non-profit organization on September 1, 2010. We are part of GEPAC 70 patient associations, 22 corporate members and 10 own divisions: rare tumors, breast, head and neck, liver, pancreas, prostate, lung, kidney, skin and melanoma. The purpose of this alliance is to share resources and experiences and to have a single voice before the different social agents and health systems.
GEPAC offers information and psycho-oncological, social, legal, oncoesthetic and physical rehabilitation advice for cancer patients and their families.

FoundationOne®CDx
FoundationOne CDx is the first FDA-approved tissue-based broad companion diagnostic (CDx) that is clinically and analytically validated for all solid tumors. The test is designed to provide physicians with clinically actionable information — both to consider appropriate therapies for patients and understand results with evidence of resistance — based on the individual genomic profile of each patient’s cancer.
Test results include microsatellite instability (MSI) and tumor mutational burden (TMB) to help inform immunotherapy decisions, and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) for ovarian cancer patients. You can also order PD-L1 immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing* as an optional add-on test. We offer the option to reflex from FoundationOne CDx testing to FoundationOne®Liquid CDx if the tissue submitted does not meet the criteria for successful testing.
